By accessing or using CapScout, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

CapScout is an AI-powered investment research app that analyzes SEC filings to provide summaries, comparisons, trend analysis, and peer comparisons. The service offers both free features and premium subscription tiers.

Account

Some features require signing in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

Subscriptions

• CapScout offers Standard and Pro subscription tiers
• Subscriptions are billed monthly through the App Store
• Both tiers include a 3-day free trial for new subscribers
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

Free Features

The Magic 8-Ball verdict feature is available to all users without requiring sign-in or subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CapScout to:

• Attempt to bypass subscription requirements or security measures
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app

Intellectual Property

The CapScout app and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. SEC filing data is public information provided by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE SERVICE. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INVESTMENT LOSSES YOU MAY INCUR.
