By accessing or using Smorts, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Smorts is an educational app that uses AI to explain complex topics in simple terms and generate visual explanations. The service requires credits to use, which can be purchased through in-app purchases.

Account

You must sign in with Apple to use Smorts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

Credits and Purchases

• Credits are required to generate explanations and visuals
• Text explanations cost 1 credit
• Visual explanations (with image) cost 10 credits
• New accounts receive 10 free credits
• Additional credits can be purchased through in-app purchases
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law
• Credits do not expire

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Smorts to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to bypass content filters or security measures
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

Content and Accuracy

Smorts uses AI to generate explanations and visuals. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Content is for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content

Intellectual Property

The Smorts app and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE SERVICE.
